Listening Ear

Description

Listening Ear is a registered charity with headquarters in Knowsley.

The service offers counselling and support for those experiencing mild to moderate health conditions such as anxiety, low mood, or stress. We specialise in providing support to those who have been bereaved, suffered loss, or experienced separation. This service is for children and young people aged 4-18 (up to 25 with SEND).

We provide practical and emotional support, grief counselling, and trauma therapy for people who have experienced bereavement by suicide through our Amparo service.

Our Butterflies project offers grief counselling and trauma therapy for people who are struggling to recover following their experience of bereavement, as well as anyone who is struggling with issues such as anxiety, low mood, and stress. The Butterflies project offers therapeutic groups as well as one-to-one therapeutic sessions.

Our DiAmond project offers one-to-one counselling for people who have witnessed or experienced domestic abuse. This includes two online groups, one for primary aged children and one for secondary aged young people.

We offer face-to-face, one-to-one counselling in schools, colleges, and community venues, or also remotely via video conferencing or telephone.
